Prolong Windows 8 Dev Preview Expiry Time With This KB Update – Few months ago Microsoft has released a Developer Preview or Consumer Preview Edition aimed to give preview to many interested users who want to try its features as well as awesomeness. But this Preview Edition has an expiration date which is set to be March 11th 2012.
But with Microsoft’s generous heart, users can prolong this expiration date and extend usage to another few months. So if you already have Windows 8 Dev / COnsumer Preview installed, simply download its newly released KB Update package and you’ll be able to use it until January 15, 2013.
You can automatically download it via Control Panel and check it by clicking on Windows Update. Alternatively you can download its standalone file then install it manually via this link.
