How To Flash CyanogenMod 9 Android ICS on Nook Color Tablet – Well, it seems not only Motorola Droid 2, Samsung Galaxy S, Nexus S and Galaxy Mini those getting CyanogenMod 9 (CM9). And now, its time for Nook Color tablet.

So, if you have this piece of device on your hands, it is your great chance to port your current Nook to a higher level with new Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich ported via CyanogenMod 9 (CM9).

If you are really interested, simply follow these steps carefully..

How To Flash CM9 on Nook Color

1- Download CyanogenMod 9 ICS ROM
2- Then transfer it to the root of your Nook’s /sdcard
3- Boot to ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM)
4- Make a Nandroid backup
5- From main CWM’s menu select “wipe data / factory reset”
6- Go as following:

install zip from sdcard >> choose zip from sdcard >> update-cm-9.0-0-encore-emmc-sneakpeek1-fullofbugs.zip

7- Finally from the main menu select “reboot system now”
8- Once it rebooted, your Nook color will run CyanogenMod 9 Custom Android 4.0.1 ICS ROM.

    can you dual boot? Install it to an sd card and boot from that?

    I loaded the CM9 with the ICS and found the matching Market, but gmail and the market doesn’t run all else is quick and easy

      you need to download the google apps as well, and install them manually then it works fine
