iPhone 4S iOS 5.0, iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak – Finally, pod2g has confirmed that the exploit to jailbreak iPhone 4S untethered is really working. Previously, it is also confirmed works for all iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1 devices, but now iPhone 4S is also within the list.
The news comes officially via his blog stating the untethered jailbreak is really stable.
Ok, figured it out, the A5 cache is not a problem anymore. I sorted it out by doing the untether in a single thread and by flushing all the dcache then all the icache in a row at a strategical point of the process.
Moreover, he has also discussed it with Saurik aka Jay Freeman and the result comes with discovered missing piece to make the exploit works perfectly stable.
At user’s end point of view, still, we have to wait for Pod2g to release the exploit implemented with an easy-to-use jailbreak tool like RedSn0w, Sn0wbreeze, and so on.

This is indeed a great and interesting all-season route to San Francisco from June Lake. Would love to take this route again. For those who are thinking about taking this, do not have second thoughts.
