With the panorama mode enabled, iSO 5 users can take a HD photo as large as 6122×2852 pixels (see sample photo here) by snapping photos continually from left to right.

The panorama mode feature is hidden and can be enabled by adjusting a .plist file in the Camera.app. It’s done by changing the value of “EnableFirebreak” to “YES”.

How to Enable Firebreak Panorama Mode?

There are two ways you can choose, the first one is the hardest and another one is the easiest.

If you choose to edit it manually, simply use iFile to open and edit “com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist” located in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences path. In iFile select select Property List Viewer >> tap the [+] button >> In the name field type: EnableFirebreak and in the Type field select: Boolean >> Tap Create in the upper right-hand corner and turn the switch to “ON” for EnableFirebreak >> then tap done.

Or shortly iDB has posted a nice video guide demoing how to enable Firebreak on iOS 5.

And here’s the easiest way which can be done using a simple Cydia tweak named as -also- “Firebreak”. Simply look for it in Bigboss repo then install it. Once done, open your camera app and you’ll be surprised.
