Download Unibeast A Must-have Hackintoshing Tool – Want to build your very first Hackintosh PC running latest Apple Mac OS X 10.7.x Lion? Well, you can read our previous articles or alternatively use Unibeast, a PC Hackintoshing tool that makes it as easy and fast as possible. Created by -thanks- Tonymacx86, the popular guy behind hackintosh world.
Current version of Unibeast is 1.0.0 and it covers everything you’ll need to install OS X Lion on a PC (minus its OS X). However you’ll still need to download the OS X Lion itself officially via Apple’s server (purchase).
Creating Hackintosh PC OS X 10.7 Lion with Unibeast
Tonymacx86 has posted the complete “how to” guide, all steps required to build a hackintosh PC OS X 10.7.x Lion (read it here). The guide is relatively easy as all steps are explained clearly. But if we may make a short summary, then it should be like this:
First, of course you’ll need to prepare all required things which are:
- A 8GB or higher USB Flash Drive (UFD Stick)
- Compatible Hackintosh PC hardware build (click to see what’s below $600)
- An a Mac OS X 10.7.x Lion installer (download from App store)
or alternatively you can simply purchase official OS X Lion USB Thumb via Apple.com or Apple Retail Store.
Once you have all those things in your desk, the next step is to create a bootable USB Drive which can be done easily using Unibeast (or read our previous guide). Once done, simply plug-in the UFD to destination hackintosh PC then start and boot via USB (set it up via BIOS Settings).
Once the OS X Lion is installed, you’ll still need to enable boot from hard drive, and install support for Audio, Network, and Graphics. All of those requirements can be setup easily using a tool named MultiBeast. It is an all-in-one post-installation tool for a hackintosh PC. That is it. You can read the full guide on Tonymac’s blog here.
