Beside its support to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 Developer Preview (beta 1), the newer version of Sn0wbreeze also includes fixes to iBooks sandbox and Location Services issue found in iPhone 3Gs.
Using Sn0wbreeze 2.8b9 to jailbreak the first beta version of iOS 5.0.1 is pretty much easy. All the steps are still similar with its previous version, Sn0wbreeze 2.8b8 for iOS 5.0 Public Final.
