Steps to Deactivate Avast Autosandbox – The initial concept of Avast 6 new feature named AutoSandbox is awesome. But somehow users want to disable / deactivate this new feature introduced since the release of Avast 6.
About Avast Sandbox
Avast AutoSanbox is a feature that identifies suspicious applications and automatically prompts users to run them in the safe virtual environment of the avast! Sandbox.
As its name, the process should be automatic event users will have three options offered:
1- To execute the file within the virtual AutoSandbox
2- To run it outside the sandbox
3- To cancel running the application entirely
While Avast Sandbox itself can be described as a security technology that enables users to create a virtual computer inside a physical machine for the purpose of opening or running suspicious programs and files.
How to Disable Avast Autosandboxing Feature
If you are already really sure to run an executable program without having to pass it via Avast AutoSandbox, then here it is how to deactivate that auto-thing.
Step 1 – Launch Avast 6 main window
Step 2 – Click on Additional Protection >> then AutoSandbox
Step 3 – On the right panel click on Settings >> AutoSandbox
Step 4 – Uncheck the “Enable AutoSandbox” followed by clicking [OK] button.

To re-enable it again, simply repeat steps above then check-mark the Enable Autosandbox” feature followed by [OK]. Thanks to Techdows for sharing this awesome simple tips (but useful).

I wish they have us a simple installer switch to automatically disable it or at least disable it by default, i install avast for general users who almost all think it’s annoying and complain about it, i can’t even find a registry entry to modify so i have to manually edit the preferences for every install…which is annoying and makes me think about moving to another app.
