What is absurd is that this phone should have been the Bionic. The Droid Razr is I would say ON PAR with the International Version of Samsung Galaxy SII which was released in April of this year. Motorola is producing phones that are SO OUTDATED (hardware wise) that is is comical! The U.S. version of Samsung Galaxy SII are for the most part slotted as having 1.5GHz dual cores. WHICH again puts this new Motorola Droid HD Razar back in the “lack luster” bucket. Let me guess when Samsung and HTC release their Quad-Core’s next year, Motorola will roll out their dual core 1.5GHz phones….. Motorola is NOT even trying to catch up. When there is talk of HTC Vigor & Galaxy SII’s (U.S. versions) & Samsung Galaxy Nexus ALL coming out with dual core 1.5 GHz. Motorola will release a dual core 1.2GHz AFTER these other stellar phones hit the shelves??? Doesn’t make ANY marketing sense!
I just don’t understand the logic behind these moves, UNLESS, Motorola is giving up on the “HIGH END” market and focusing on phones that will be in the “MIDDLE” and the selling price will be its strongest selling point (say around $199 on a 2 year contract)???
