Just like when you buy a new iPhone, auto correct feature is natively turned on by default. Somehow and sometimes it will be annoying to type a word we want but then automatically replaced with another one. So how to turn it off?
Disabling Auto Correct Feature on OS X Lion
Simply follow this:
Launch System Preferences >> click on [Language & Text] >> click on the [Text] tab >> uncheck the box next to “correct spelling automatically”. It’s that simple.
