Using PDF Exploit and Local Web Server to Jailbreak iPad 2 iOS 4.3.3 – Comex JailbreakMe 3.0 will soon be released around today or tomorrow even its unofficial leaked version has been available (which so many said it isn’t so reliable). So at the end jailbreak lovers need to wait for JailbreakMe 3.0 official release. But recently another method has been introduced but still using the similar PDF Exploit. It is just a different way to use it which make use of local web server.
However this method is not really recommended as there may be a bug or unexpected error. This workaround hack is intended for you who really can’t wait for JailbreakMe 3.0 to out, and for you who have experimental spirit. This trick has been unveiled by Ryan Vanniekerk.
How to Use PDF Exploit on Local Web Server for iPad 2 Jailbreak
Step 1. Download the jailbreak PDF exploit files [link]
Step 2. Then create a simple index.html file that has a link to the PDF Exploit file
It will closely look like this

Change “path to://” with actuall location of the downloaded file in step 1 or usually it is as “localhost” or “127.0.0.1″ on local web server
Step 3. Create a local webserver on a Mac, linux or Windows machine. In Windows you can make use of Xampp or Wamp.
Step 4. Setup / establish a Wifi network (configure your computer, router, network settings, etc)
Step 5. Access that webserver from the iPad 2 Safari browser
Step 6. A webpage with the link to PDF exploit will be opened up. Then simply click on that link.
Step 7. The jailbreak then proceeds to close Safari, and a Cydia icon will appear on the iPad homescreen
Step 8. Now reboot your iPad 2 and walla!! Your iPad is now jailbroken.

However, JailbreakMe 3.0 will be out not so long later, so you better wait it for. Once released, you’ll no need to go through that painful process.
