Build Hackintosh Mac OS X 10.6.8 (under $600)

Guide to Build Mac OS X 10.6.8 PC Hackintosh – Many people want a budgeted computer running Mac instead of buying original iMac or a MacBook Air or Pro. Thus, hackintoshing have been being a trend for years as it is a less-expensive / cheaper solution. Hackintoshing in a very short dummy description is to install Mac OS X on non-Apple devices. User can even build its own computer specs.

Build a hackintosh

But in some geeky words hackintosh is described as a collaborative “hacking” project to run the Mac OS X computer operating system on non-Apple personal computers with x86 architecture and x86-64 compatible processors. Personally I rather like its description as “to install Mac OS X on PC“.

How to build your own hackintosh? Well actually to build a hackintosh PC is not as simple as installing Windows 7 (or even Windows 8). Yet, as commonly Mac OS X will need a powerful hardware to handle its amazing UI and Animations. So what if, lets say me, is new in hackintoshing and I have very tight budget to buy needed components? In this case we’ll need an easy guide to hackintosh with cheap PC hardwares.

Well luckily, Lifehacker has pointed out a brief complete guide how to build Hackintosh with less expensive hardware. And the product is called as Hackintosh Mini which is rumored having faster performance than a Mac Pro. Wow..

Curious? So lets start with what hardwares are needed to build Hackintosh Mini and cost you less than $600.
