How to Enable or Activate iCloud Sync with iOS and iTunes Automatically – Along with iOS 5 and Mac OS X 10.7, iCloud is also Apple’s new technology that has been introduced during WWDC. Yet, to support iCloud and iOS 5, iTunes 10.3 with iCloud Enabled has also been released (soon will be iTunes 10.5 when iOS 5 official version is released – soon this fall).
iCloud is in short described as a new feature allows you store all your iTunes data on Apple’s servers and sync with your computer itunes and iOS devices. It means you can sync your iPhone, iPod, iPad wirelessly even without iTunes. Automatic Downloads or wirelessly sync is only applicable the new purchases that been made on iTunes Store after it is enabled.

Enable iCloud Sync on iTunes
You’ll need itunes 10.3 or later.
1- Open iTunes and go to Edit (for Windows) or iTunes (for Mac OS X) >> Preferences
3- Click on [Stores] tab
4- Select and check the type of content (Music, Apps and Books)
5- Click [OK]
Enable iCloud Sync on iPhone, iPod, iPad
On your iOS device go to:
1- [Settings] >> [Store] >> login if you are not logged in yet
2- Tap the On/Off switch to On for content (Music, Apps and Books) you want
3- Also turn ON/Off [Cellular] option to enable/disable sync via cellular data network. If it is disabled, then you should in some Wifi area.
But do note that downloading via cellular data network will only allow downloading file under 20MB size.
