Easy Steps to Root Motorola XOOM using ADB Method – Just a recently we’ve mentioned how to unlock Motorola XOOM tablet PC. And now we’ll also inform you a short guide on how to root Motorola Xoom via ADB Method. For you who still don’t know what is Moto XOOM and its specs, so you can read our previous post about leaked technical specs and features of Motorola Xoom along with its unboxing video.

Download Needed Tools
Download XoomRoot.zip File
XoomRoot.zip via HotFile, MegaShare, FileFactorry

Root XOOM and Install Super User (SU)

1- Download Xoom Root tool (comes packed in .zip)

2- Extract the .zip file and save them in a folder in your computer

3- Install Android SDK on your computer

4- Unlock Motorola XOOM’s bootloader

5- Once bootloader is unlocked, type following command

fastboot flash boot rootboot.img
fastboot reboot

6- Wait till Xoom reboots

7- Once your Xoom is rebooted, type following ADB commands

adb remount
adb push su /system/bin
adb shell In –S /System/bin/su /system/xbin/su
adb shell chmod 4755 /system/bin/su
adb push Superuser.apk /system/app
