[How to Guide] Hard Reset and Soft Reset Motorola Droid and Milestone – Owned a Motorola Droid but still don’t know exactly how to reset your handset? Basically you can do either hard or soft reset your Motorola Droid & Milestone phones. But what’s the difference? Soft Resetting is actually rebooting or restarting the mobile smartphone device so that it starts again after cleaning the memory state with no data lost. Soft reset or restarting is useful when the phone is not responding to screen touch or tap and key press, or to recover from crash. While Hard Resetting is (aka Factory Reset) restoring the mobile device to original factory default settings, removing and deleting everything that was imported, added or installed on the device. Hard reset will erase everything on the phone. But data on MicroSD card is not affected though. And here it is the method how to do the reset.
