Android 3.0 Gingerbread on Sony PlayStation Phone – Succesful with sensational gaming console, PlayStation 3 (PS3), Sony will soon release a smartphone powered with the new Android 3.0 codename Gingerbread. This upcoming smartphone will be known as Sony PlayStation Phone (Sony PS Phone). The prototype of Sony PS Phone Android 30 has been leaked out via Engadget (photo above). And what are featurig with this Sony Playstation Phone? Besides it is running Google Android 3.0 Gingerbread, the new PS Phone will come withh following key features (or key specificatios):
- Powered with 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 chip
- 4.1 inch screen display
- 512 MB of RAM
- 1 GB of ROM
- Runnng Gingerbread (Android 3.0) OS
- Featured with Sony Marketplace
What is Sony Marketplace anyway? PlayStation Phone also may have Sony Marketplace app which will allow you to purchase and download games designed for this new platform. Probably it just like Apple App Store and Android Market which you can browse and find apps and games.
Some said it will be realeased early next year but remember that what leaked above is just a prototype. Will it be coming exactly with the same features? Stay tune for more updates.
