Some leaked steps how to root Motorola Droid X have been leaked which is previously said impossible to root Droid X since it is equipped with e-Fuse technology. However there is such things impossible but may be a little harder. Motorola confirmed that e-Fuse on Droid X wont brick your Droid X if you attempt modify bootloader. However, Droid X users cnow can be happy for this unveiled tutorial to root Droid X device even it is still long away for Droid X custom roms.

Steps How to Root Droid X Phone
1- Download DroidXRoot.zip file (link at the bottom of this post)
2- Set Up ADB.
3- Push exploid to /sqlite_stmt_journals “adb push exploid /sqlite_stmt_journals”
4- Now type “adb shell”
5- Type “cd sqlite_stmt_journals”
6- Type “chmod 755 exploid”
7- Type “./exploid” and follow directions on screen
8- Type “rootshell”
9- Type in password “secretlol”
10- Your in root! now..
11- Next,.. mount your sdcard to pc and put Superuser.apk and su in the sdcard
12- Then unmount the sdcard
13- In adb (make sure your still in root with the # sign) type in:
- cp /sdcard/Superuser.apk /system/app/Superuser.apk
- cp /sdcard/su /system/bin/su
- chmod 4755 /system/bin/su
