5 Steps How to Root Dell Streak
1. First thing first, install ADB Driver [read here]
2- Connect Dell Streak tablet to the computer and enable USB debugging by going to Settings >> Development >> USB Debugging.
3- Then run SuperOneClick app and click on [Root] tab.
4- Wait for rooting process to finish and reboot your device.
5- Once your device reboots, confirm root by checking if SU is present.

Have a dell streak 5 with android 2.2.2 and superoneclick fails to open read/write… and thus will not root phone. Help
