How To Fix

Step 1.
From your Android home screen, tap/press on Menu button and then choose Settings. Alternatively if you have “Settings” icon on homescreen, find and tap that icon.

Step 2.
In Android Settings page, find and tap “Applications”

Step 3.
Then tap on “Manage Application”.

Step 4.
You’ll see several tabs in above the fold area, now tap on “All” tab.

Step 5.
Here you’ll see the list of all applications available on your phone.

Step 6.
Scroll down and find for “Contacts Storage”. Tap it.

Step 7.
In the next section you’ll see some details and information about the app. Now simply tap on the “Clear Data” button.

Step 8.
That’s it. Now you can repeat adding or syncing contacts to your phone or simply restore from available backup.
