How To Save iOS 6.0.1 SHSH Blobs Via RedSn0w – As we always mentioned: saving SHSH Blobs file is really important as if sometimes you need to downgrade, you’ll be able to. We’ve covered a nice easy way to create SHSH Blobs backup file using popular SHSH dumper tool TinyUmbrella (read the guide here). Today, we gonna list down easiest step to dump (create backup) of your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad’s SHSH blobs file using world’s most popular jailbreak tool RedSn0w. In this guide we’ll use RedSn0w v0.9.15 beta 3 to dump iOS 6.0.1 blobs but the process should be similar to any other version.

Apple has already released iOS 6.1 for beta testers, which says to us its release won’t be too far away. So, go act now to retrieve the most current blobs for 6.0.1 and before Apple stopped signing them. p.s: to be jailbroken is not necessary to saving SHSH Blobs as long as Apple is still signing those blobs.

Download latest Redsnow and unzip it
– Proceed with caution

The Procedure

1- Connect your iDevice to the Mac / PC

2- Now launch RedSn0w up

3- Click on “Extras” button

4- Then click on “SHSH Blobs”

5- Now click on “NEW” button

6- Finally select the 6.0.1 blobs to save

That’s all and congratulation!! Somehow in the future if you want to downgrade, you can use RedSn0w again to grab the Blobs and downgrade your iPhone.
