Do you ever wondering that you could just create full Nandroid backup without having to turn your device off? Well, it is now possible to take Nandroid backup using OnAndroid app and the catch is you don’t have to power off your phone. OnAndroid App (stands for Online Nandroid Backup) is a root-only app shared over XDA allowing users to do as what this post’s title says while normally you have to do that via CWM (custom recovery).

Here’s how to do that:
Step 1.
Download Online ANdroid Backup app here or here
Step 2.
Now transfer / install it on your phone.
Step 3.
Now install Terminal app as well (Download link)
Step 4.
Launch Terminal app
Step 5.
Type su to grant terminal root access over your phone.
Step 6.
Then type the command “oandroid”.
Step 7.
Sit tight and wait till this app created full Nandroid backup file
That’s it. Once done you can copy the created Nandroid file to your PC for restore later.
