Sony has recently introduced high-end specs’d mirrorless DSLR camera called as “NEX-6″ which is another generation of its predecessor the NEX-5 (introduced in 2010). Sony NEX-6 still inherits traditional DSLR-style PASM dial but with more compact solid body. The camera is equipped with 16-megapixel APS-C sensor features similar power and shooting capabilities as a DSLR but this one is -once again- more compact, solid and easy to handle. The whole form factor and its solid body just looks like its brother the NEX-7 but you can spot there is a high-resolution XGA OLED Tru-Finder viewfinder with 2.36 million dots as well as 3-inch tilt-able screen for autofocusing and taking shots.
With its 16.1 megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, this powerful camera is capable of capturing full HD 1080p videos like a breeze. Price and Availability
The Sony NEX-6 will hit stores in mid-November for about $1,000 with the SELP1650 power zoom lens or $850 for just the body. Sony is also adding three new lenses to its E-mount line including the SELP1650 (16-50mm, F3.5-5.6), SEL35F18 (35mm, F1.8), and the SEL1018 (10-18mm, F4.0).
