Networking: This new flagship is designed to support wide range cellular networks on GSM, CDMA, LTE technology. The iPhone 5 supports almost every cellular and Wi-Fi band known to man with GSM/GPRS/EDGE/CDMA/EV-DO/HSPA/LTE. It is made in three models which are:

- GSM model A1428:

The Processor: Under the hood, it has a powerful processor which is twice as faster and powerful than its predecessor iPhone 4s. Thanks to several high-tech new features like “still shot” while recording HD video, 40% faster photo capturing speed, ability to take better low-light photos, and now the native camera app has a built-in panorama mode. The new panorama feature lets you capture jaw-dropping panorama images of up to 28 megapixels by simply moving the camera across a scene in one smooth motion. This new improved camera has a nickname “iSight” camera (incredibly 25% smaller size than iPhone 4s) with ability to capture full 1080p HD videos at up to 30 frames per second (fps) with crystal clear audio quality thanks to new noise cancellation technology with three microphones.

Yet, its front-facing camera has now also been improved. Users can now use front camera to make HD FaceTime calls or shot 1.2MP photos and 720p HD videos.

Better Battery Life: Now we know that iPhone 5 comes accorded with bigger screen display, supports LTE networks, and capable to captute full HD 1080p videos. The remaining question is, while such cool features usually drain battery life for sure, what Apple put in this iPhone 5 anyway? The phone has built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery which Apple says the new iPhone 5 battery will last even longer than the one used in the iPhone 4S. According to its press release, this new battery can provide up to 8 hours talk time with 3G is ON, up to 225 hours standby time, up to 10 hours video playback, and up to 40 hours audio playback.

Want to browse internet with it? Don’t worry as this battery is also capable providing up to 8 hours on 3G, up to 8 hours on LTE, up to 10 hours on Wi-Fi. Sounds cool huh?

iPhone 5 Price and Availability: There are two color variants of iPhone 5 are available: White & silver or Black & slate. iPhone 5 will be available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the UK on Friday, September 21. Users can start preorder iPhone 5 on Friday, September 14.

Suggested retail prices of iPhone 5 are:
- $199 (US) for the 16GB model
- $299 (US) for the 32GB model
- $399 (US) for the 64GB model
**prices are subsidized and require at least a two-year carrier contract

More countries to come: iPhone 5 will roll out worldwide to 22 more countries on September 28, including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. The device will hit 100 countries by December and will be carried by 240 mobile operators.

What About iPhone 4s, iPhone 4 and iPhone 3Gs: iPhone 4S price is dropped for just $99 (US) and iPhone 4 will be available for free with a two-year contract. Unfortunately iPhone 3Gs will no longer produced and no longer developed (simply ditched).
