AVG has managed to release newest edition of world’s most used free anti virus program: AVG Free Antivirus 2013. This new app is enhanced with so many new features as well as bug fixes. But somehow, you may also stuck with a reason why you don’t need this program any more to protecting your PC / laptop. And if that event comes, here’s how you can uninstall or remove AVG Anti Virus correctly, cleanly and safely.
The Steps
1- Go to Control Panel >> Programs >> Programs and Features
2- Then find and select AVG 2013
3- Now click the “Uninstall” button.
4- Now you should see AVG2013 Uninstaller Wizard appears
5- Click the “Uninstall” button in the “Uninstall AVG” section
6- Another window will appear
7- This time tick the “remove user settings”
8- Also tick the “Remove virus vault contents”
9- Hit the “Next” button
10- You may also need to describe your reasons
11- Once done hit the “Next” button again
12- Sit tight and wait till the uninstall process finished
13- Once done, you’ll see following message
AVG anti-virus free edition 2013 has been successfully removed from your computer
14- Now restart your PC.
