Microsoft has announced the RTM version of Windows 8. It means it is just a matter of days for its final version to be released and available for purchase. For some people they may give the RTM initial test by downloading its bootable DVD .ISO image file leaked via several file hosting services and torrent networks, while others simply play safe. If you are one of those people that choose to play safe and don’t want to try any leaked build, transforming your current OS to Windows 8 RTM is another option.
By installing third-party Windows 8 theme allowing you to have some parts of awesomeness without having to bother any technical procedure although basically doing a clean Windows 8 install is easy. Anyway, if you are an addict of Windows XP (Microsoft’s best masterpiece so far), then here it is a nice Windows 8 RTM stle coming as a theme for your XP.
Created by a nice DeviantArt member “PeterRollar”, this theme has been made in two versions: the one with Start Button and without Start Button. Both is packed in one downloadable .zip package.
Installing this theme is easy, simply copy the desired version folder to “%windir%\Resources\Themes\” folder and apply the theme using Desktop Properties. Here, %windir% means C:\Windows\ folder. You can also double-click on the .msstyles file to directly apply it. That’s all.
