Normally, a HTC One X user who wants to unlock bootloader need to register phone’s IMEI to HTCDev. Thus they have a list of One X users with bootloader unlocked. It means all registered users will be rejected if they ask for replacement or claiming warranty when their phones are broken. Obviously that’s really inconvenient but as usual, folks at XDA have the solution for you.

For AT&T HTC One X users, “18th.abn” has shared all the step-by-step guide how to get bootloader unlocked. Unfortunately the whole steps need to be done manually but the developer has promised to release the execute-able script soon to simplify the process. The steps are pretty long and detail so you’ll need to read it carefully. Curious? Find it here.
For Rogers HTC One X users, “niceppl” has discovered the working hack method plus working script (Mac, Linux & Windows) to make the whole process easier. Go grab the tool here.
For a glance, the process will make you to download spoofed partitions and push them to the One X. Next, you have to push a modified unlock code through the bootloader. The developer also stated that until they find a way to s-off this device or a way to change the relock to lock, after you unlock, if you want to relock the bootloader will say relock not lock. So, proceed with caution and do not forget to make full backup before proceeding.
