Previously, folks at XDA has discovered a great easy way to root newly announced Google Nexus 7 tablet running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Recently, another much more easier method has been also unveiled along with its one-click root tool. Shared by a member named “m.sabra” who lives in Beirut, this Windows-based tool is pretty simple and works with just a single click. The best part, during the process, the tool will also flash our beloved custom recovery, the ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM).
However, rooting your Android device is not a child-play especially when your device is one of latest model. Hence, the developer also warns you that all your data will be totally wiped if your Nexus 7 bootloader is locked. Also, either us or the developer will hold responsibility of bricked or damaged devices. So you are on your own and use with your own risks.

How To
0- You better have unlocked bootloader. Otherwise, backup all your data
1- Download needed one-click root tool here.
2- Extract the Nexus-7-root-toolkit-v.1.1.zip file
3- You should now get “root.exe” file
4- On your tablet, enable “USB Debugging” option
5- Now plug your Nexus 7 in your PC using its USB cable
6- Run “root.exe” by double-clicking it (you may also need to run as Administrator)
7- Now simply follow on-screen instruction
8- Wait till the process done.
9- Once done, you may need to reboot your tablet
10- Enjoy..
Anyway, this tool has already included needed drivers so you won’t be faced with drivers issue. But just in case if anything goes wrong, go visit the discussion thread here to find and submit more queries.
