Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was announced at Google I/O yesterday but recently there is already its leaked build allowing select devices to flash it unofficially. We’ve seen Samsung Galaxy Nexus updated to Jelly Bean unofficially. Today, we’ll also see that HTC’s best flagship “HTC One X” also get that leaked build. So, if you want to install Google’s next generation mobile OS on your phone, luckily there is a leaked build ready to be downloaded and flashed.
It is XDA Senior member “tgascoigne” who has shared ported flash-able Jelly Bean ROM for HTC One X. He made a great job porting leaked /system image extracted from Galaxy Nexus.
Unfortunately he has to be honest with you that this ported build is not so stable yet and some known issues still need more work.
He said that Wifi, Audio and Camera may not work right now.
