Which Samsung’s user didn’t know Odin? Any of you? Well if you’ve landed in this page means you have already known what Odin is. In fact, that very useful tool has been ported to an Android app by a recognized Android hacker “Chainfire”. And this tool here we are talking about is named as “Mobile Odin”. Just few days ago Chainfire released CF-Root tool for Galaxy SIII (SGS3) to root, install SuperSu and flash CWM on the SGS3 GT-I9300. Recently, he also has outed newer updated version of Mobile Odin bringing support to SGS3 I9300 phone.

Mobile ODIN is the on-device firmware flasher of choice. Just throw those firmware files on your (internal or external) SD card, start Mobile ODIN and flash away.
Shortly, with this root-only app installed on your Samsung phones, you’ll be able to do many advanced tasks of its desktop version straight from your phone so you don’t have to plug in it to your computer.
P.S: This app is highly not recommended for beginner users. Make sure you know what you are going to do with this app.
This on-device ODIN utility supports wide range Samsung devices from Galaxy Tab to Galaxy S families.
Chainfire’s Mobile Odin is available in two edition: the Free and Pro.

How To On-Device Flashing With Mobile Odin
Step 1.
Make sure your device is rooted (how to) then download and install Mobile Odin .apk file on your phone.
Step 2.
On your phone, launch Mobile Odin up
Step 3.
You should now see a set of partitions on the main Mobile Odin screen. Now simply tick the partition in which you store flash-able item there. Odin will then detect whether that file is supported or not. Don’t worry as Odin will not let you flash wrong / invalid file.
Step 4.
All Odin’s familiar buttons like “PDA”, “PHONE”, and “CSC” are replaced with a single “Open File…” button in this mobile version. Go ahead pick the file you want to flash it on your phone.
Step 5.
If you are using Mobile Odin Pro, you;ll be able to use EverRoot, a cool app mod allowing you to root while flashing. If you are using Lite version, go ahead skip this step.
Step 6.
Assuming you have selected what file you want to flash, now proceed “Flash firmware”.
Step 7.
That’s it and enjoy..
