Evo 4G LTE Gets Root Treatment Done on Mac, Windows, Linux

HTC Evo 4G Rooted

Rooting your Android phone is somehow in other words means as liberating your phone so you can install many root-only apps on it. Recently, an XDA member “zedomax” has found a nice easy way to liberate (read: root) newly available HTC Evo 4G LTE along with SuperSU app and Busybox installed.

However that’s achievement can be considered as “Great” as FYI the Evo 4G LTE has been shipped not less than three days but there is already a working root method.

The more interesting part is the root method can be done via Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Thanks to “zedomax” for creating a one-click root tool for each OS based on the same method used for the Transformer Prime ICS. Yet, he also uploaded complete video demo showing how to root your Evo 4G LTE.

Anyway, with this tool you can also unroot your phone and make it back to run stock ROM easily.

P.s:
This root method occurs only at the software level which means you couldn’t install custom Recovery yet as it is not S-OFF. But however, you can install any root-only apps as well as to debloat your Evo 4G LTE phone.
