How To Install ICS On SGS II
1- Download required ROM:
- vI9100XWLP7 For UK and Ireland SGSII [link]
- vI9100XWLP8 For Australia SGSII (Optus) [link]
2- Extract the .zip file and you’ll find Odin, launch it up
3- On your phone go to:
Settings >> Applications >> Development >> Enable USB Debugging
4- Then put your device in Recovery Mode by pressing Home + Volume up + Power buttons
5- In Recovery Mode, select wipe data / factory reset.
6- Then, select wipe cache in advanced.
7- Important: Remove your battery from your device, then put it back in.
8- Put your phone into Download Mode by pressing Power + Volume down + Home simultaneously.
9- In Odin, click PDA >> locate the file with the .tar.md5 extension (extracted from .zip you downloaded).
10- Click [Start] button and happy flashing..
